Row 1: (RS) Ch 2 (counts as hdc), hdc in next 39 sts, turn—40 hdc.
Row 2: Ch 1, [sl st in next hdc, dc in next hdc] across, turn.
Row 3: Ch 2 (counts as hdc), hdc2tog (see Glossary) over next 2 sts, hdc in each st to last 3 sts, hdc2tog, hdc in last st—38 hdc.
Rep Rows 2 and 3 until 22 sts remain. Fasten off.
